THE GARDEN

Lots of people have asked me how I keep my cats in the garden, so I have taken some photos of our
garden, which is safely enclosed for the cats, they have free access to the garden from the house and as you can see from the photos they thoroughly enjoy it. The whole of the perimeter of the garden has an electrified fence both on the inside, outside and top, to prevent anyone climbing out or in. This is perfectly safe for the cats, it is run off a unit specially designed for fencing in animals. In the Main Garden we also have a secure house and run which we use as an isolation unit, and another house and covered run which is open all the time for anyone to use if they want to. We have divided one area up for the boys to have as their garden and they have a heated house, with a climbing frame, shelves, and beds in, and also a covered outdoor play area, a decked area outside with chairs and table and a large area of grass with an outside climbing frame for them to play in. This means that I can sit out with them and have coffee or read a book, groom them and generally make sure they do not miss out on getting some attention.
When the kittens are old enough they are allowed out in the garden to play and they love it, they have
access to the garden from a window with large steps down to the garden for safety.
If anyone would like to know more about how we have done this please email me and I will send you all the
details. |
